Zimmwe is dead

Great shock and grief hit the people of Kampala and all Ugandans at large when sad news broke that one of their own, Andrew Kasagga, popularly known as Zimmwe had died at International Hospital in Kampala.

Zimmwe collapsed at his home today morning and he was pronounced dead on arrival at Kampala International Hospital.

The Director of Human Resources at The International Hospital Kampala, Hanah Magolla says by the time Zimmwe was brought to the hospital it was too late to safe his life.

Unconfirmed reports in Kampala and International Hospital indicate that the roads constructor died of pancreatic cancer.

Zimmwe was the director of Zimmwe Construction Company.

Zimmwe will be remembered for having repaired and constructed several roads in Kampala and other parts of the country. He was also a devouted sports fan.

He was one of the key supporters and financers of Villa Sports Club.
