Entebbe children’s recreation park sold off to a private investor
Security has been beefed up at Entebbe children’s park after reports that the park had been sold off to a private investor.
The plot which features a military canal in the center was set up by the colonialist as a public recreation centre for children.
There are now reports that the Entebbe municipal council has illegally sold it off to an identified private investor which raised concerns from Entebbe residents.
An eye witness says development work on the recreation center had already started before the work was stopped by police.
